Behind the Lens

My name is Ingrid and I've been fascinated with felines since . . . well, forever, and of course, I grew up in a house filled with cats. I even wanted to be that "crazy cat lady" who lived down the road with a zillion cats (decades later, I've yet to be a cat guardian to more than three cats at one time).

My lifetime of cat experience with kittens to seniors, more cat-than dog purr-sonality, and patience in spades enables me to connect with most every cat I meet. I look forward to spending time with yours and capturing moments which bring you joyful memories.

More about me:  Although I specialize in feline portraiture, I also enjoy photographing dogs and other animal companions. I'm currently smitten with my two foster kittens  (brothers Branch and Rayne from Paws + Claws Chicago Rescue) and am a passionate supporter of animal rescue, donating photography and musical performance services to local and regional animal shelters.  When I'm not photographing animals, I'm exploring nature's beauty with my camera.
